Figueira da Foz is centrally located between Porto in the north and Lisbon in the south. It is about an hour's drive from Porto and two hours from Lisbon. So if you hire a car, you can discover lots of places in Portugal.

Apart from surfing, there are many other activities you can enjoy in Figueira da Foz. For example, you can visit the stunning beaches, explore the beautiful countryside or simply visit the local restaurants and enjoy the Portuguese cuisine.

You can also visit Santa Catarina, an old fortress and lighthouse with a historical exhibition. The fact that it has been converted into a beer bar and offers a wide selection of Belgian beers makes it absolutely worth a visit.
