The accommodation is located in the picturesque coastal town of Weligama, which is known for its beautiful beaches and excellent surfing conditions. The accommodation is located directly on the river and just a few minutes from the beach, where you can enjoy the waves or simply relax in the sun. There are numerous opportunities for excursions and exploration in the surrounding area, including local markets and cultural attractions. Supermarkets and stores are within easy reach, so you can find everything you need for your stay.

We also offer a range of organized excursions:

• Whale watching: Experience Mirissa's fascinating wildlife and, if you're lucky, spot blue whales, humpback whales, turtles and flying fish. Our tours are operated exclusively by safety-certified operators who adhere to Coast Guard regulations and national whale watching guidelines. All passengers are fully insured. Breakfast, mineral water and optional seasickness medication are included. The tour lasts between 2 and 5 hours, depending on the month. If no whale is sighted, there is a free repeat tour the next day!
• Yala National Park: A visit to Yala National Park, located on the coast, offers the chance to see Sri Lanka's endemic leopards, elephants, crocodiles and an impressive variety of bird species. The safari lasts a full day, departing from Weligama in the morning and returning in the evening. Alternatively, you can spend the night in Tissa to experience the park in time for sunrise. The cost depends on the size of your group.
• Snake Conservation Center: This unique tour takes you through the beautiful Sri Lankan countryside to a snake conservation center that has been run by the same family for generations. With their extensive knowledge of snakes, they also make Ayurvedic remedies for snake bites - don't worry, you won't get bitten! See cobras dance, vipers uncoil and experience a hug from a python! Your visit not only gives you an up-close experience with these fascinating animals, but also supports the future of the center.
• Cultural excursion: This exciting half-day tour takes you to some of Sri Lanka's cultural and historical highlights. Experience the local lifestyle and traditional ways of life. Visit the Galle Fort, a gemstone store, a spice garden, a tea factory and a Buddhist temple.
