You'll be staying centrally in enchanting Garmisch-Partenkirchen, which is known for its winter sports and cultural highlights. From here, you will set off into the nearby mountains every day with your experienced mountain hiking guide and a small group.

A total of five guided hikes await you, taking you into the Wetterstein mountains, the Ammer mountains and the Ester mountains. Look forward to walking times of between four and seven hours, several meters in altitude and indescribable moments with views that you will never forget!

Garmisch-Partenkirchen is one of Germany's best-known ski resorts and is located in the middle of a wide valley basin at the confluence of the Loisach, which comes from Tyrol, and the Partnach, which has its source in the Wetterstein mountains. To the northwest are the Ammergebirge, to the east the Estergebirge and to the southwest the Wettersteingebirge, which is known for the highest German mountain, the Zugspitze. The individual mountains are all unique in their own way and made for hiking.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen is characterized by sports and culture. Winter sports such as ski jumping, ice hockey and white-water canoeing are particularly popular, but mountain bikers have also discovered the region for themselves.

The Michael Ende Spa Park, the Richard Strauss Institute, the Aschenbrenner Museum and the Old Parish Church of St. Martin are also well worth a visit.
