In the contemplative Christmas season, when everyone quiets down, this retreat picks up on the feeling of the upcoming Rauhnächte, which begin on December 21. This special time of transition and reflection is supported by yoga and meditation. Meditating helps to let go of old patterns, prepare for new goals and prepare for the year ahead. Use this time for self-reflection.

In my incense workshop, I will show you how you can use this ancient tradition with regional herbs and resins for healing purposes. You will learn why scents are so important to our lives and how they are directly linked to our emotions. When smoked, plants and resins have different effects on us humans. You will learn how incense can be used for healing purposes in everyday life or ritually during annual festivals.

As soon as you arrive at the Zederberghof, you will feel how everyday thoughts evaporate and a breathtaking mountain backdrop creates space for the here and now. The light-flooded yoga room, filled with the fragrant scent of incense, quickly creates a sense of well-being in a protected setting. It gives you the courage and strength you need to find yourself and feel your way in. Breathe in and out deeply, feel your body holistically and recognize what is good for you and what you can let go of. It's about empowerment and the feeling of being in control of your own destiny. Being a part of the whole and consciously perceiving moments of lightness and connectedness. This focus helps us to find our own happiness.

Around 60 kilometers south of Salzburg, nestled in the wide Salzach valley at 615 meters above sea level, lies St. Johann in Salzburg with its Alpine village. This small town offers a varied program for families and holidaymakers in both summer and winter. In summer, activities such as hiking on the Geisterberg, cycling on the Tauern cycle path, swimming, a visit to the world-famous Liechtenstein Gorge, golf, running, Nordic walking and various outdoor sports are on offer.

In winter, St. Johann in Salzburg is the ideal gateway for skiers and snowboarders to the Salzburger Sportwelt and the Ski amadé, Austria's largest ski area. In the Snow Space Salzburg ski area, you will find everything you need for a perfect skiing vacation with the whole family. The direct connection from Alpendorf to Wagrain and Flachau offers 120 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes and 44 modern ski lifts. The family ski area at Hahnbaum is ideal for beginners and children. Here, the youngest skiers can make their first turns in the snow, even with free use of the lifts. Ski tourers will find two idyllic ascent options on the Hahnbaum to enjoy nature undisturbed. Away from the slopes, there are ice skating rinks, toboggan runs, cross-country ski trails and romantic winter hiking trails.
