Your accommodation is around five minutes away from Peniche, so you can easily stroll through the small town at any time. The Fort of Peniche, a fortress from the 16th century that was used as a prison in the 20th century and is now a museum, is well worth a visit.

Right on your doorstep is an endless sandy beach with tons of different surf spots. Whether you're out for a stroll or relaxing in one of the cozy beach bars - you'll see surfers here all the time! You can also enjoy a relaxing evening here with a cocktail, music and the sunset.

You'll also find impressive cliffs within walking distance, where you can stroll along with a view of the sea. A visit to the small Baleal peninsula is a must - whether for one of the best restaurants in the area or the fantastic view over the cliffs and the sea.

Every year in October, a very special highlight awaits you just three kilometers away: the World Championship Tour of the World Surf League with the best surfers in the world comes to Peniche to surf one of the best waves in the world in Supertubos. Every surfer has to see it once!
