Your surf trip will take place on the rugged and unspoiled coast of Galicia in the northwest of Spain. This region is known for its green hills, dramatic cliffs, empty beaches and strong cultural identity. Unlike overcrowded tourist destinations, Galicia offers a peaceful and authentic experience - perfect for those who want to escape the noise and connect with nature and themselves.

Location and accessibility

Our surf camp is located in a small, quiet coastal village surrounded by countryside and close to several stunning beaches. Distances from the surf house:

• Closest beach: ~ Five minutes by car / ~15 minutes by bike
• Supermarket and stores: ~ Five minutes by car
• Local cafés and restaurants: Within five to ten minutes
• Nature reserves and viewpoints: Within ten to 20 minutes
• Closest town: Viveiro (~ 15 - 20 minutes drive), with markets, stores, banks and traditional Galician charm

A car is helpful but not essential - we often organize shared rides and have bikes available for our guests.

What you can do in your free time

When you're not surfing or doing yoga, there's plenty to discover and experience. This region is a playground for nature lovers, foodies and anyone looking to unwind.

• As Catedrais Beach (Beach of the Cathedrals, ~ one hour away) - Galicia's most famous beach with natural stone arches and caves (best visited at low tide)
