Surf and sun vacation in Portugal's surf capital Peniche

Peniche is blessed with dozens of surf spots where you can surf in all tides, winds, wave directions, wave sizes and tides. The waves are suitable for all levels: from beginner surfers to surfers with years of experience. We are in one of the most consistent locations in Europe. It's the perfect place for a surfing vacation. Even with the biggest winter swells, there are always a few sheltered spots. The world-famous Supertubos beach, where the prestigious WSL competitions are held, is also famous. Whether you want to surf, bodyboard or windsurf, this area is the place to be in Europe.

We are located on the Baleal peninsula in the north of the Peniche region and are lucky enough to have one of Portugal's most beautiful beaches practically on our doorstep. Nearby you will find an abundance of grocery stores, restaurants, cafés, surf stores, bakeries, bars and long sandy beaches. Peniche is just a short drive or bike ride away (via the cycle path).

Baleal and Peniche also offer the opportunity to visit the Berlengas archipelago, which you can reach on an exciting boat trip. These islands offer a fascinating historical backdrop. The natural beauty of this small Portuguese archipelago, which is considered a nature reserve, is incredible, as it is a must-see paradise. In addition, Peniche and Baleal have a magnificent coastline characterized by rugged rocks, cliffs and the beautiful expanse of the Atlantic Ocean.
