When you arrive at the Mansion, you will immediately feel the family atmosphere. The Mansion was freshly renovated and refurbished in 2023 and awaits you with a beautiful garden and pool. You can also let off steam on the slackline, balance boards or table tennis. The property is huge, so you can find a quiet corner to read or sunbathe. Inside you will find a large living room with a pool table. The perfect place to relax with like-minded people after an exhausting time in the waves and have an unforgettable time. Daily breakfast and a packed lunch for the beach, as well as dinner 5 times a week, are included in the price. The team attaches great importance to fresh food and local products. That's why the fruit and vegetables come from local farmers, the meat from the local butcher and the fish from local fisheries. You can look forward to a large selection of vegetables and salads as well as a high-quality selection of fish, seafood and meat. Vegetarians are of course also catered for. Vegan or gluten-free dishes are also no problem, but a small surcharge will be added due to the extra effort involved. There is no dinner on Tuesdays and Fridays; here you go to Lagos with everyone and try out the local restaurants and bars.

The trip to the Mansion is suitable for you if you are in the mood for new people, yoga, a good mood and lots of surfing! The average age of the guests is between 20 and 40 years old, although you might come across a 10-year-old pro surfer or a 53-year-old beginner surfer. It doesn't matter whether you come alone, with friends or a partner - everyone is welcome here and you'll find yourself in a great group of surfing and yoga enthusiasts on your very first evening.

Urs took over the surf camp together with Iris in 2013. Urs has not only surfed halfway around the world, he has also worked in surf camps all over the world. Until he got to know Lagos, however, there was never a suitable place where he could imagine living and pitching his tent for the long term. With eight surf instructor training courses and certificates and a wealth of practical experience, you are in the best hands with him when it comes to hitting the waves.

Like Urs, Iris has traveled half the world and has worked in many surf camps around the world. In Lagos, however, she feels at home for the first time and can't imagine anything else. She loves the home surf spot like no other in the world and, in addition to training as a surf instructor, also has various certificates as a yoga teacher.

Micky is responsible for your questions and booking management. She also uses every free minute to get into the waves herself and enjoy the view of the ocean. If you have any questions, Micky is looking forward to hearing from you!

Chouriço is one of your surf instructors. He loves nothing more than the Portuguese coast and is already looking forward to teaching you how to surf. The feeling of seeing you surf your first waves and what that triggers in you is what makes his job for him. When he goes surfing himself, he is always on the lookout for the best barrels. Because that first barrel never let him go.

Surfing & yoga in the Algarve: feel-good vacation in nature

The easiest way to get to the villa is to fly to Faro. From there, it is around an hour's drive to the mansion. For an extra charge, you have the option of booking an airport transfer. For transfers between 22:00 and 06:00 there is a night surcharge of 20%. There is also a charge of €15 for taking a surfboard with you. The cost of the regular airport transfer is €83 each way.
